Who this outfit actually suits
If you only look at one Springdale outfitter, this is a sensible one to start with, because they do more of the things a Zion visitor might need than anyone else in town. Guided Narrows trips, the full rental range, canyoneering instruction, and the vehicle shuttle to Chamberlain’s Ranch for the top down through hike.
Their published Narrows pricing is unusually transparent about group size, which is worth knowing because it moves a long way. A summer trip is $219 per person at seven or more people and $558 for a one on one. Winter runs $249 and $618 respectively. If you are two people, you are paying a great deal more per head than a group of seven, and it is worth asking whether they can place you with others.

Guided Narrows trips include canyon shoes, neoprene socks and a hiking pole in warm water season, and add a full drysuit or dry bibs in cold water season. Park entry is not included in any price, and you bring your own water and food.
What they are permitted to do
Listed on the park’s published authorization roster for commercially guided hiking and guided bicycle tours inside Zion.
Their own material states the constraint behind the Narrows turnaround more precisely than most: tours are not permitted to go beyond the wilderness boundary, and commercially guided groups cannot go past Wall Street. That is the mechanism. Guiding in designated wilderness is not permitted under a hiking authorization, and the wilderness boundary sits at that point in the canyon.
Their canyoneering activity is instruction and gear, not guided descents of the park’s technical canyons, because no company holds an authorization to guide those. See the directory for how the whole system works.
Worth asking about
Group size, if you are a pair
The per person rate falls sharply as the group grows. Ask whether they can join you to an existing group, because the difference between a two person booking and a seven person one is several hundred dollars a head.
Which package for your dates
They recommend bibs or a drysuit from roughly October 1 through mid May. Ask what the water is actually doing that week rather than going by the air temperature, which is the mistake most visitors make.
